Mirar Custom Homes is a family-owned construction company based in Crown Point, Indiana, specializing in high-end custom homes and renovations. Founded in 1988 by Mike and Patty Stallings, our company has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship and personalized service throughout Northern Indiana. Second generation owners, Dean and Sara Jones, continue to lead the business while maintaining the company's renowned quality and integrity.
Mirar Custom Homes offers a range of services, from new homes to remodeling. We have completed over 300 projects in areas such as Culver, Crown Point, St. John, Valparaiso, and Munster. Our work is characterized by attention to detail, quality materials, and a commitment to client satisfaction, earning us many awards and positive reviews.

Our History
Mirar has built single family homes since its creation in 1987 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Mike and Patty Stallings moved their company into Lake County, Indiana after observing the affordable land for development and low taxes the area had to offer. Charmed by the hometown feel, they chose to move their home and office to Crown Point in 1993. Mike and Patty endeavored to build homes which enhanced neighborhoods and added value to the city while continuing their pursuit of quality design, construction, and market value.
Keeping the business in the family, Dean and Sara Jones took over operations as Mirar Custom Homes and they have continued offering high-quality single family homes in the Crown Point and surrounding areas. Dean and Sara have raised their three children in Crown Point and Sara has held leadership positions in the parent organizations of Crown Point’s elementary, middle, and high schools. She has been an active member of Crown Point’s Tri Kappa for the past 25 years and is a current board member and past president.
Dean is past president and active board member of the Home Builders Association of Northwest Indiana, a former board member of Northwest Indiana Habitat for Humanity, and a current board member of the Crown Point Community Foundation.
Mike, Patty, Dean, and Sara are grateful for the opportunity the city of Crown Point has given them to help promote the cities growth and prosperity by building 56 beautiful custom homes in Crown Point over the past 30 years.
